Ashwini Kalsekar is well known to small screen viewers for her witty character as the scheming Jigyaasa in Ekta Kapoor's daily soap Kasamh Se for which she won the ITA award for Best actor in a negative role. Ashwini Kalsekar born in 1970 hails from Nasik in Maharashtra. The actress completed her graduation from Bombay in the year 1991.
Ashwini Kalsekar pursued theatre from 1991-1994 as an understudy. The time period from 1992 till the year 1993 was her memorable one because at that time she was an understudy to famous, refined actress Neena Gupta.
