Rituparna Sengupta

Rituparna Sengupta was born on 7 November 1971. Rituparna is the leading actress in Bengali Cinema for the last decade in India, and is also currently performing in critically acclaimed Bollywood flicks. The actress was active in the arts since a young age.

The actress studied at Mount Carmel school, and later graduated in History from Lady Barbourne College and began studying for a Master's in Arts at Calcutta University. Rituparna Sengupta got married to her childhood friend Sanjay Chakrabarty, founder and CEO of MobiApps on 13 December 1999 in Kolkata. She is actively involved in the cause of children suffering fromThalssaemia.

She is also into outdoor sports and plays badminton whenever found herself free.
The actress has also be honoured with many awards like the Bharat Nirman Award in the year 1995.
