Asin denies rumours
Actress Asin has refused the recent press news that she has done a ‘lip-lock’ with Bollywood’s Salman Khan in their upcoming film titled ‘Ready’. She has also denied reports that she has starred in a ‘bed-room’ sequence with -bachelor Khan and that this particular sequence would be the USP of the film.
Asin’s Bollywood record is 50:50 so far: she has had a superhit opening in Hindi films with ‘Ghajini’ and then an utter failure in ‘London Dreams’ opposite top guns Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan. Incidentally, ‘Ready’ would be her second film with Salman Khan in two years and she also ran into big trouble for visiting the neighbouring Lanka to shoot for the film’s sequences last year.
The reports, which have infuriated Asin to no end, said that Asin and Salman had become ‘so close’ to each other and their new-found proximity to each other is reflected in the sequences they have shot together for the film. Setting the record straight, Asin says that “From time to time, there have been rumours about me appearing in the press. This time, they appear to have gone over-board.
“I don’t need to star in such sequences to sustain my career in Hindi films. I haven’t done so till now and would never do that in future too. “Ready is a family-oriented entertainer and as such, the script doesn’t warrant any smooching sequences. I would like to clarify that I have neither donned the bikini nor starred in any bed-room sequences, as reported by a section of the media,” she concludes.
Salman is a good friend of hers, she says and adds that he took very good care of her when she fell ill while filming the climax sequences of ‘Ready’.

Salman Khan compare Asin to Madhuri Dixit!
It seems it took only two attempts for Asin to win Salman Khan's heart. The actor recently praised Asin for possessing exceptional talent and even went on to compare her to Madhuri Dixit. Salman and Asin appeared together on screen for the first time in 2009 in the Vipul Shah directed London Dreams. After the success of this movie, Salman and Asin are again joining hands in the Anees Bazmee directed Ready. The filming of the movie has been completed in various location across Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
During the filming of Ready, the crew observed that Sallu and Asin had a great on screen chemistry, which made the romantic scenes more intense. Initial reports emerged that Asin shot a intimate scene with Salman though the actress denied these reports. Asin, on hearing about Salman's praises, expressed that she was floored. The actress in a humble tone added that Madhuri was a veteran who cannot be compared with her. Salman Khan with Madhuri Dixit gave one of the most successful movies in Bollywood history: Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. Salman's comparison of Asin to Madhuri has heightened the anxiety about Ready, which will hit screens on June 3rd.

As Ready is a family drama, which involved Salman Khan who falls in love with Asin and gets the family’s acceptance from both sides for their marriage is like a big wedding extravaganza with family sentiments, happy occasion filled movie.
It is said that Asin’s character, costumes and even the choreography are inspired from Madhuri’s. Salman Khan feels that the Madhuri of Hum Aap Ke Hain Kaun is the ideal woman, the kind he’d like to take home to his mother and had even persuaded Anees Bazmi for it who was ready to oblige!
The director said, "There is a lot of Madhuri in Asin’s character and presentation. We don’t have item songs in Ready but conversational songs woven into the narrative."
Asin said, "The resemblance to Madhuri did not escape me. In fact, my first duet with Salman was very much like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun.”
It is also said that the climax will have a grand song pictured on a wedding, like that of ’Didi Tera Devar Deewana’ song from ’Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’.
Asin says, "That’s true. The entire family joins in song-and-dance while Salman and I get married. If I’ve managed to capture even a fraction of Madhuri’s effervescence, I’ll be happy."

Asin loves to work with Salman!
For her upcoming Hindi film 'Ready', Asin has pretty much found herself in a position where she is one of the few trusted co-stars that Salman Khan boasts of. This is not the first time though that Salman has been ever so caring about a co-star of his. Even earlier, whenever Salman has caught fancy of his co-star and extended a friendly hand, he has gone all out to ensure that everything about him or her is taken care of.
"That's right. Asin has become further fond of Salman in last one year," a senior unit member from 'Ready' confirms, "Since after 'London Dreams' they are working together in 'Ready' again, they are spending a lot of quality time together. This has resulted in a very good bond between the two."
Another reason behind this good bonding is the fact that Asin too found a comfortable co-star in Salman.
"Whether it was Aamir in 'Ghajini' or Salman in 'London Dreams' and now 'Ready', I didn't have to make any changes to adapt to their working style," says Asin, "They made me feel really comfortable. I was free to do things the way I wanted to do because Aamir is very chilled out and he goes about his own job without interfering. Same is true with Salman. He doesn't come to you and tell you how you should be approaching your character. This is why it is so cool working with him."
