Kalpana Iyer

Kalpana Iyer is a former Miss India, and Bollywood actress. The actress was well known as a famous vamp of the 1980's and 1990's. Having appeared in a number of Bollywood movies featuring dance sequences espcially item numbers, somewhat reduced her in appearance with a short interruption in Indian Television. The actress is currently a restaurateur based in Dubai, UAE.

After being first runner-up at Miss India in 1978, Kalpana Iyer started making full-blown appearances playing negative character in a number of Bollywod projects, continuing in the tradition of Bollywood actresses like the most gorgeous Bindu, the most sizzling actress Helen who have performed several item numbers and the fascinating Aruna Irani. Some of Kalpana Iyer’s famous dance sequences were to the songs "Hari om Hari" in Pyaara Dushman in 1980 and "Rambha Ho" in Armaan 1982 .

Some of the renowned Bollywood projects of the sizzling actress include 1982 released film Satte Pe Satta starring Shakti Kapoor, Amjad Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Ranjeeta and Hema Malini, Anjaam (1994), Raja Hindustani alongwith Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor (1996) and Hum Saath Saath Hain (1999). Kalpana Iyer was critically acclaimed for her performance as prison warden in Madhuri Dixit, Shahrukh Khan starrer Anjaam. Kalpana Iyer has also acted on television. She became a pop singer and performs in shows as well. Kalpana Iyer also featured in Salman Khan, Sonali Bendre, Neelam, Saif Ali Khan, Karishma Kapoor, Tabu starrer, Hum Saath Saath Hain.

Bollywood actress Jayshree T- Biography

The Bollywood famous Actress and dancer Jayshree T is still active in the bollywood and Gujarati movies. Jayshree began her career in the mid 1960s as a supporting actress and comedian alongside actors like Mehmood and Jagdeep.




Jayshree T became more popular when she started performing item dances in Big-Budget films. Some of her famous dances are Reshmi ujala hai-Sharmilee(1971), Naach meri jaan phataphat-Main Sundar hoon(1971), and Sultana Sultana-Tarana(1979).

Jayshree performed dances in more than 100 films, really a huge number in the 1970s and early 1980s. The actress was one of the most popular dancers of the time along with Aruna Irani, Kalpana Iyer, Padma Khanna, Asha Sachdev and Prema Narayan.

Some of her notable films in which she gave her outstanding performances were Raaz (1967), Chanda aur bijlee(1970), Jaani Dushman(1979), Shoukeen (1982), Andar Bahar (1985), Ghar Ghar ki kahani (1988), Ghar ho to aisa (1990). In the year 2001 the actress also did Yeh Raaste Hain Pyar Ke and Chalte Chalte in 2005.
