Madhuri Dixit refused Rajini’s rana offer!

When all heroines who matter in the country today are waiting for a call to feature as Rajinikanth’s pair in ‘Rana’, the Bollywood yester year heartthrob Madhuri Dixit has reportedly refused the offer to star as one of the Rajini’s pair in the upcoming film.

Rajinikanth plays three characters belonging to three different generations in the film. Current national sensation Deepika Padukone has already been signed to play the romantic pair to the youngest Rajini in the film.


But to play Jodi to one of the older characters Madhuri Dixit was approached and buzz is that the lady declined the offer on personal grounds.  Apparently Madhuri turned down the request saying that she misses her children too much and wanted to fly back to the United States at the earliest.


Madhuri Dixit had paired with the super star before in a 1987 Bollywood film called ‘Uttar Dakshin’. For the other Rajini, the names of Sneha and Anushka are being considered according to grapevine.

Shahrukh was the first choice for ‘Endhiran’!

Believe it or not, but Rajinikanth was not the first choice of filmmaker Shankar, for Endhiran.

Shankar initially wanted either Kamal Hassan or ShahRukh Khan for the role opposite Aishwarya Rai. However things didn’t turn out as expected and the project was grabbed by Rajinikanth.

 

After giving hits like ‘Sivaji’ with director Shankar, Rajinikanth is extremely happy to work with him again.

 

Enthiran is a forthcoming Tamil science fiction film co-written and directed by S. Shankar. The film features Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles with A. R. Rahman working on background score and soundtrack.The film will be released worldwide on 24 September this year. It is known for being the most expensive Asian film ever made.

Aishwarya Rai cancelled visit to Endhiran’s music launch

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attacked by a severe fever due to which she had to give a miss to the music launch of.

The Telugu version of her film Endhiran/Robot in Hyderabad. Thanking the people of Hyderabad and the Telugu film industry.

 

Who have been very supportive throughout her career, 36-year-old actress said Endhiran/Robot is a very special film.

 

And the entire team that has worked so hard on its making. Ash said, “Technically the film is. A first of its kind in Indian cinema and they are very excited to share such a special film with the audience”.

 

Aishwarya added that she was delighted that the music of Robot by A R Rahman was a chart topping success.

 

Praising the filmmaker, the actress said, “Director Shankar has pushed the envelope and taken leaps ahead in re-defining commercial cinema. From Jeans to Endhiran, I have recognized only he can make a magnificent look more magnificent, and technically introduce the viewers to a new world of cinema each time.”

Rajini want to do like Amitabh Ji

According to sources, Superstar Rajini has decided not to act as youth after release of ‘Endhiran’, instead he would take up roles that will suit his real age.

 

We will get to see a never-seen-before, young and smart Rajini in his forthcoming Shankar’s ‘Endhiran’.

Looks like Rajini want to do dignified character roles like our great Amitabh Ji.
