Her mother is a regional director of ‘ World Youth’ and her father works with UN (ECSA). After completing her studies in Media and Arts production and communication from Sydney University she get entered in Bollywood industry.Aushima made her debut by Pooja Bhatt film Dhoka in the year 2007. Though the movie did not get success in the box office. After that Aushima get chance to be a participant in the NDTV Imagine reality show Desi Girl, with other seven contestants.
