Reema Lagoo is a Marathi actress who has appeared in a number of Marathi as well as Hindi movies. The actress was born as Nayan Bhadbhade in 1958. Her mother was a well-known actress on the Marathi stage.
Reema Lagoo had a love affair with late Bollywood star Shafi Inaamdaar. The actor helped Reema Lagoo by his own approach in the initial stage of her carrer. In late 1970s or early 1980s, Reema started acting in Hindi and Marathi flicks. After that she got married to Marathi actor Vivek Lagoo. After marriage, she changed he name from Nayan to Reema.
Reema Lagoo has mostly acted in supporting roles with some of the biggest names in the Indian film industry. Reema Lagoo became famous with the film Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak that was released in 1988 where she played mother to Juhi Chawla. She then featured in the role of Salman Khan's mom in Maine Pyar Kiya that was released in 1989.
She was also featured in 1994 Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Rangeela (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) and Kal Ho Na Ho! (2003).
One of her most notable performance can be seen in the bollywood movie Rui Ka Bojh 1997 that also starred actor Pankaj Kapur and Raghuvir Yadav.
