Tulip Joshi is a Bollywood actress who was born on 11 September 1979. She has also worked in several Punjabi movies. Her mother was an American and Father was a Gujarati. She was born in Mumbai. She graduated in food science and chemistry. She also excelled in sports, competing in athletics at the National level. Her sister Monalisa is married to Bollywood actor Rajat Bedi. .

Tulip’s glamorous career began when she entered the Femina Miss India in 2000. She did not make it to victory of the final winners but was surely noticed by many advertising agencies. After that she appeared in a number of advertisements for big brands like Ponds, Pepsi, Siyaram, BPL, Smirnoff etc. She also appeared in a video made as a tribute to Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Her career in movies began by a chance. She was actually a friend of the bride of Aditya Chopra. The Chopras noticed her at their wedding and asked her to appear for an audition. The audition proved lucky for her as she was soon selected for the movie “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.”

Tulip Joshi was not fluent in Hindi and neither was she good at acting so she trained in Hindi diction and in acting at Feroze Khan’s studio. She was also given the advice of changing her name to a more Hindi one. So she chose the name Sanjana. Her debut movie was quite successful and earned praise also but Tulip’s acting was not satisfactory. After a two-year hiatus, she reappeared in Matrubhoomi - a dark film about a futuristic world with almost no women.

She was appreciated in this movie and Tulip was now able to establish her credibility as an actress. Her movie Dhoka also won her some recognition. Another movie of Tulip is Dil Maange More with Shahid Kapoor, Ayesha Takia and Soha Ali Khan. Now a days the cute actress is busy doing her Punjabi flicks.

Gul Panag

Born on January 3, 1979 Gul Panag is a critically acclaimed Bollywood actress and former beauty queen. Gul Panag won the Miss India title in 1999 and was crowned Miss Beautiful Smile at the same pageant.




Gul Panag began her movie career with the 2003 film Dhoop. Since then she had worked in films like Jurm (2005) and the TV series Kashmeer (STAR Plus). However Gul Panag received acclaim for her role of Zeenat Fatima in the 2006 Nagesh Kukunoor film, Dor.

Gul is also Brand Ambassador for Tata Sky with Amir Khan. The actress was also nominated for the Stardust Award for Best Actress In A Supporting Role (2009) Movie: Hello, Screen Award for Best Actress In A Supporting Role (2007)Movie: Dor. She has also won the Zee Cine Critics Award - Best Actress , tied with Ayesha Takia for Movie Dor (2007).

Sridevi comes forward to promote ‘Wanted’

Bollywood’s sultry actress, Sridevi, was last seen in the 1999 Malayalam movie ‘Devaraagam’. Sri also made an exception for the sake of Salman with whom she featured in a number of projects including ‘Chandramukh’” and ‘Chand Ka Tukda’. The last Hindi film she acted in was 1997 release ‘Kaun Sachcha Kaun Jhootha’. Since then the beauty has been missing the action and the spotlight.

It is again Salman who has managed to bring her out of the shell by making her appear in one of the episodes of the game show, ‘Dus ka Dum’, which will be aired on Sony TV this Saturday. The actress has done this favor to promote her husband’s forthcoming movie, ‘Wanted’ and will be accompanied by husband Boney Kapoor. Prabhu Deva and Ayesha Takia will also join Boney and Sridevi on the show.

“Now we can all shamelessly promote our film ‘Wanted’,” said Salman.

Supreme Court Allowed Salman Khan’s Wanted Release

The Supreme Court Wednesday allowed film producer Boney Kapoor to release his Salman Khan-starrer “Wanted” on Sep 18.

A bench of Justice B.N. Agrawal allowed Kapoor to release the film after he offered to deposit Rs.2 crore with the Bombay High Court as security amount in a dispute on an advance he had  taken from LMB Holdings, a B4U group company.

Ayesha takia Biography

This pretty young gal born on 10th April, 1986 made it very early in the tinsel-town. Her father is a Gujrati and her mother is an Anglo Indian. She grew up speaking Gujrati and English but learned Hindi and Telugu for her filmy career. She studied in St Anthony's Girls High School, Mumbai, her birth place. Her younger sister is Natasha.

Ayesha entered in glamour world through advertisements and her first advertisement was the famous "I'm a Complan Boy, I'm a Complan Girl" alongside Shahid Kapoor. Her first music video was Falguni Pathak's "Meri Chunar Udd Udd Jaye", when she was just fifteen. Ayisha Takiya
drew the attention of the film industry with the video "Shake It Daddy" and film offers followed. Though Ayesha signed "Socha Na Tha" first but her first released movie was "Tarzan- The Wonder Car".

Ayesha Takyia won the Filmfare best debutant award in 2004 for her performance in "Taarzan". After that Ayesha acted in many films but most of them were unsuccessful at the box office.

On March 1, 2009, Takia married Farhan Azmi, a restaurateur and the son of politician Abu Azmi, a Samajwadi Party leader.

Ayisha Takia beautifully essayed the role of a young widow of Rajasthan living in a traditional joint family in the film "Dor". She was highly praised for her work in this film and went on to win Zee cine critics award for best actress.

But the pranksters Aftab and Ritesh din’t give up and finally tricked her to sit into the catapult by promising that it wouldn’t move.
